Athletic Department Requests

Chapter Requests of Donations from Athletic Department

The Athletic Department wants to work with our Alumni Association Chapters but there are guidelines that must be followed.

**Chapters should make all requests through the Alumni Association staff.**

Requests can be for autographed balls or photos.

If the Alumni Association provides the ball(s), the chapter will be billed for the cost of the ball(s).
If the chapter provides the ball(s), the Alumni staff can get the requested autograph.
Team autographed ball is more difficult. So as to avoid any NCAA violation, team autographed memorabilia or current athlete autographed memorabilia cannot be sold for a profit (i.e. raffle, silent auction, live auction).
Do not go through the coaches to ask for tickets, travel package or autographed ball.

Requests cannot and should not be made for:

Trips with the team – any team.
- Football charters a smaller plane and thus less room for additional passengers.
- Per university rules, a sport can only take the same person, not affiliated with the team, on one (1) trip per semester.
Sideline passes for football. They are not available.
Tickets from the athletic department. Legally, the athletic department cannot give away tickets for the purpose of generating funds for another entity. Bulldog Club must absorb the costs of away game ticket, including tournament ticket, and have to pay the full price of the ticket – for any sport.
Autograph ball(s). Athletic department has to pay for their inventory, thus asking for a free ball costs the athletic department.
