Volunteer Engagement Opportunities
Get involved with your MSU Alumni Association!
The Association offers opportunities for volunteers to share their time and talents to support the University and its initiatives.
Spread the MAROON and WHITE by:
- participating in engagement activities for alumni and friends;
- being involved in local communities throughout the county/region;
- raising scholarship funds;
- and recruiting students to MSU.
Alumni Chapter and Club Volunteers aim to keep alumni and friends connected and engaged through various MSU events and activities in officially chartered chapters or engagement clubs geographic areas, while also raising funds for student scholarships. Our leadership teams work together to plan and host engagement opportunities and represent the maroon and white in local communities.
Alumni Engagement Representatives aid the Association through regional advocacy, networking, and engagement opportunities, outside of a chapter or club geographic area. Engagement Reps are ready when the Alumni Association needs assistance with an event in the area, host a visiting campus official or faculty member, or coordinate a game-watch gathering or informal dinner.
The Alumni Recruitment Network assists the Office of Admissions and Scholarships with student recruiting through college fairs, recruiting events, awards programs, and note card writing.
The Association also offers opportunities to serve on the National Board of Directors and Black Alumni Advisory Council.
