Reunions are a great way to stay connected to your university and the people and activities that made your time at Mississippi State so special. The MSU Alumni Association is committed to helping you rekindle those warm memories, reunite you with familiar faces and reconnect classmates, faculty, staff and new friends. We are eager to assist you with planning your event.

Band reunion

Date: September 19-20  

Alumni band members are invited to sit in the stands, play during the game alongside the Famous Maroon Band and perform at halftime. Alumni of the MSU stage band or jazz ensembles are invited to join a jazz reading sessions on Friday evening.

Date: September 26-27  

Join the current cheer, dance and mascot teams as we celebrate the legacy of MSU Spirit at our 2025 Spirit Squad Reunion.

Cobb reunion

Thursday, October 16th

4 to 6 PM: Fall festival at the Cobb, open to the public

6 – 7 PM: Lecture from Eric Cline, Professor of Classical and Ancient Near Eastern Studies and Anthropology and Director of the GWU Capitol Archaeological Institute at George Washington University. Location TBA

Friday, October 17th

6 – 9 PM: Excavational movies on the Cobb lawn for students/alumni/general public.

Saturday, October 18th

1 – 5 PM: Outreach at Cobb

  • Outside (weather permitting): activities on the Cobb lawn with light snacks provided, and live music by Scott Levi Jones & The Holy Cow
  • Inside (room 201): 10-15 minute lectures by Cobb staff featuring research highlights
  • Inside (room 100): Broadcast of the MSU/Florida football game
  • Inside (museum): Open for walk-in visitors
  • Inside (various labs): Open house

5 – 6 PM: Catfish Dinner (while supplies last)
