For gift cards, someone from the chapter will have to ask the businesses directly. Some businesses will give willingly, some you have to purchase.

Raffle of prizes or drawing for scholarship money

Gift card to Barnes & Noble (purchased by the chapter)
$500 scholarship drawing (for those in attendance)
Drawing for cowbells
Drawing for a "survival box" full of needed items (mostly travel size) - hand sanitizer, band-aides, head ache meds, crackers/snacks, shout wipes, clorox wipes, phone portable charger stick, Kleenex - whatever you think is needed

Games or Ice Breakers

Local speakers - alumnus/alumna, new graduate, current student

What move-in day was like for you, any person (older alum, new grad, current student)?
What tips for a smooth move-in day (new grad or current student)?

Top 10 things to do before you graduate
Make a list during the party and ask alums to share their top things - either a large flip chart or posterboard on the wall/table, or out loud during the program and write it on a flip chart or poster. This could definitely be humorous.

Encourage parents and students to ask questions.
